The Bronx Halloween Parade

In 1985, a group of individuals under the leadership of Father Louis Gigante began this yearly tradition of celebrating our community by taking back the streets on Halloween. What started from a small group of children has grown into the second largest Halloween Parade in New York City. Each year, the parade has a particular theme that captures the spirit of Halloween. The parade has attracted many New York politicians including Bronx borough president Ruben Diaz Jr. Council member for the 17th District of the New York City Council Rafael Salamanca, as well as many political candidates running for office and looking for voters in local, state and national elections.
